Bram Stoker's Dracula
While many "purists" condemn this remake of Dracula, I found it to be much closer to Bram Stoker's Novel than Bella Lugosi's. Granted, it had some Hollywood embelishment's, but I feel that it needed some modern interpretations in order to be successful with a modern audience.
Dracula was portrayed more as the sardonic hero and, by the end of the story, you found yourself feeling sorry for him rather than fearing him.
The movie still had sufficient chills to delight anyone craving a modern gothic horror. I gave this one 4 chills.
