The Prince of Darkness: While this lower budget film tried to sell itself with some gore. This one has a few exceptionally chilling moments. The premise was one of the most fascinating. The idea that the Satan was trapped in the catacoombs of an ancient church and is now showing signs of emerging is interesting. The dream sequences, I think, sold me on the film. The image of the dark figure gave me delicious nightmares. While I admit the film had its dopey moments, I still have to give this one 4 chills.
