halfway across the room..." "...The face was just floating in front of mine...there was no body. It had long, scraggly, black hair and huge expressionless black eyes..." "...the walls were covered with insects and the window
was open, my Nan came in behind us and screamed at the sight before her eyes. None of the wallpaper was visible, it
was just a black cluster of hairy wings..." "...First the creaks and noises, but that could
just be the house setteling. Then the whispers..." "...suddenly from out of
the huge crack in the now "split- in- half" shoulders of the statue

But then I'll unlock the door, go inside, and she's sound asleep
