Dead Man Walkin

There was an elderly woman living by herself. Her friends tried calling one day to check up on her. The phone was busy so they thought they would try later. After a couple of days, her friends called again. The phone was again busy. Worried, they called the police and asked if they could go check up on her. The minute the police arrived, they knew somthing was wrong. It was the smell. It smelled like rotting flesh. They went upstairs and opened the door to the old lady's room. They found her lying dead on the floor. The phone was in her hand. There was no evidence of a struggle, but the lady's face was frozen in a silent scream. it turned out, that her husband, who had died, was terribly afraid of being buried alive. his wife had a phone installed in his coffin. The police asked an operator if they could trace the last call to get to the woman's house. The operator said it came from the coffin of her husband. So the police told the undertaker to dig up the old man's grave. when he did, they heard him scream terribly. He ran out of the graveyard mumbling things. His hair had turned completly white. The police looked inside the grave. what they saw frightened them beyond belief. inside, the old man had a hold of the phone. He had tried to call his wife and it scared her to death.
