Blackness

If all the colors in the world go away,
there will be black.

Black as blood, black as hunger, Black as pain, dark as night.

If all the strife in the world comes to a head,
there will be blood.

If all the bellies in the world do not get fed,
there will be hunger.

If all the hearts in the world perpetuate hate,
there will be pain.

If all the souls in the world pollute their world,
there will be darkness.

If all the colors in the world go away, Will we remember what they looked like?
