Real Ghost Stories

A Real or Fake Spirit?

By Katie

Ever since I started working at the Teen Center I have herd the weirdest things. First the creaks and noises, but that could just be the house setteling. Then the whispers, that could be our imagination. But after all of the weird stuff going on here I had the proof to convince even me that there was a ghost in the Teen Center. It all started with the whispers in my ear. I could feel the breath and hear the words so clearly, "Oh my God." But that was just me. Or was it. The more a friend and I worked together the more the stuff happened and when our third friend joined in the unexplained happened. The boys bathroom airfreshener would spray even though the batteries were out of it. The basement and attic doors and lights would turn on and off every now and again without us touching them all day. Then I decided to use my Quoji Board. I used it with another person and we felt it move and then out of fear we took our hands off but it kept moveing. We've also found carvings on the wall of the basement of a large family called the Marxens. We went to the historical society of our town and found out that the marxens were the neighbors of the house where we work. The ppl who lived there died in the house (naturally) and weren't found till two weeks after. My two friends and I all knew the departed in some small way. Could our energy bring back the spirit. Or are we just imaginaing things. Well I know one thing and thats, that I now believe in ghosts and God help me when the house gets torn down in the spring and that the ghost won't be mad and come after me.
