Dear Mr. Agememonon, I have some questions for you about this whole "vampire" thing. Is it true a vampire can only be killed by a wooden stake being driven through their heart? Are vampires really afraid of garlic, crosses, and sunlight? Will sunlight, crosses, and garlic kill a vamp, or just injure them? Can vampires only enter a house if invited by the rightfull owner? On more of a personal note, are you offended by TV shows such as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" or "Angel"? Do you really need to drink Human blood, or can you resort to animal blood, (I hope so)? Are there really vampire slayers out there? If so, have you ever meat one? Do you live an everyday life (like a ordinary human)? What I mean is, do you have a job, freinds, stuff like that. Right after you were bit, did you know you were a vamp, what was your reaction? What did your family say?

A vampire can be killed by a wooden stake through the heart. Any creature would be killed by a wooden stake through the heart. It is not the only way to kill a vampyre.

I do not fear crosses. I have several myself.

I do not venture out in sunlight, as it could be dangerous or fatal to me.

Garlic? Hmmm, I'm not sure. I've never tried to consume any since becomming a vampire. I can tell you that, while I find it's odour distasteful, I do not feel any unusual repulsion from it.

My family believed me dead, or disappeared. I assumed a new identity. At first I was angry at becomming a vampyre. It was not my choice and it was not even the choice of the person who made me one.

I do have friends. A few are mortal and a few are not. I do not have a job in the conventional sense. I have several business investments which provide me with excelent resources for my material needs and desires.

Hello there,

I know it is been some time that I did write but I just need to write you now, as I am somewhat stuck and I need your advices concerning some things.

1. I did meet someone on the net, someone really nice and cute but he lives in a different European town and country than me (he lives in the Netherlands). I have the problem that because I have been fooled by some guys that it is hard for me to trust someone so easily. This guys name is Marc. Marc told me he would like to meet me, that I shall come over to Amsterdam to see him and spend 2 days with him. But I told him I would not be sure, I could not spend all my money on going there, as I am intending to save some money, and I told him I would be afraid of that it turns out the wrong way in case we would feel something for another.

2. My second problem is that I had an awful weekend the week before and I have some problems with some of my....friends or pseudo-friends or whatever. There was Luxembourgish National Day here and my friends and me we went to town to watch the fireworks. Suddenly 2 of my friends started fighting real bad and we did try to keep them away from eachother. After that I drove with some of my friends to the lower town to wait for the others, who should have come there with their own car. We did wait for 30 minutes before I called up my best friend Dan, who told me they would arrive now in 10 minutes, Steve would drive them to the lower town. In the end we waited for 2 long hours and noone showed up. I was so sad and angry, which is normal when you have to wait that long and for nothing. You know, to me it really seems that some people only pretend to be my friends just to take advantage from me. I don't know anymore what nor whom to believe, so I decided of NOT seeing anyone of those friends anymore, but that is not the solution either I think. You wrote in your last mail to me that you would feel for me in my melancholie, but I discovered that I never get into a melancholic mood for nothing and that it is always other people who put me in such a bad mood. What can I do now? And how can I discover who speaks the truth and who doesn't?

3.Last but not least I have to tell you this now, but....I am worried, I honestly am damn worried, because you did not answer on my last email which I have sent you, trust me I really have tears in my eyes right now. Somewhat does bound me to you and I can't explain what it is.......? *looks confused*

Anyhow, I think I always care for the wrong people, I always care for those who are not really interested in me......

Membi, you are a caring soul. One who exposes the most fragle part of your feelings to anyone and everyone. You have opened yourself up to pain. You must accept and think with your mind before your heart. It is a difficult exercize for one such as yourself. Some of the best tools fot this are to try and imagine your circumstances happeing to someone else. Really pick a friend and ask yourself what advice you would give them. With this will come wisdom.

I find the question/answer pages on fright scape interesting, whether you be real of not. I like to write horror fiction, and your page on fright scape has given me some great ideas. But some of the people who write to you are sick and have no lives. They are wasting away searching for something that in my opinion they will never find. Your opinion may differ, and I respect that. I thank you for the spirit of your words. I do try to convice people to live. So often I am bombarded with requests for people to become vampyres. Such an existance is not an escape. It is people's desire for freedom from responsibility.

Agamemnon was the first greek tragedy I've ever read. Rather liked it too, although to be honest at times it was a bit of snore during a 8:00a.m. lit class on a beautiful day.--no jibe intended there, sorry).

Reading through some of the other Q&A's i admit has awaked my own curiosity.... My earth chattering/ world changing questions will exercise your intellect to levels never before experienced!!!!! So here we go:

1. Do you have PC or Mac laptop? *grin*

2.This one's a little pry-ish: What do Vampyres do for income? Well not all of them naturally... what do you do? I mean the ideal for the more devoted fans is that you get all decked out in the finery to skulk about in alley ways... but really... is it a Super-man/Clark Kent kind of life? Do you have a mortgage? Rent? Go Shopping? Pay taxes? (I think taxes can be traced back before the time of Christ also *smile*)

3. Do you watch TV at all.... It'd be amusing to hear what you think about shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer (again.. no jibe there either)

4. You admitted to having some mortal friends... do they know about what you are? It must be rather painful to know that just as you make friends, you know you'll see them grow older... and pass on... Some of my close friends have also passed away also. Life goes on, and the emptiness gets a little better... but it never goes away does it? It is a happiness that you and Leanna have each other. ....Do you ever have dinner parties??? Sorry... make that just have friends over hanging around? Talking...laughing Movie marathons?

5. It was mentioned that in order to become a vampire, you have to drink of his/her blood. What happens when you get a mosquitto bite? *Dom shudders at the thought of gigantic vampyric mosquittos*

I actually thought your questions were some of the most origial I've seen.

1. I have a Dell laptop, which I have found to be excelent.

2. I have several business investments which have been more than adequate to handle my material needs. There is a saying all one needs to do is to "die and pay taxes." I have avoided, so far, the former only. My invenstments are held in such ways that they cannot be traced back directly to me.

3. The only manners of Vampire fiction I have enjoyed are Stoker, Rice and another more obscure novel "I am Legend."

The rest seems to have been created to sell "children's lunch boxes." If you take my meaning.

4. Yes, I do miss my mortal friends who have passed on. The tempatation to allow them to make them into what I am is overwhelming. But it is a selfish temptation, which I must not give in to, since it is more a curse than a blessing.

Yes, we do have parties. I own several, esablishments where we often have evening gatherings.

5. Drinking the blood of one who is already a vampyre is the way one enters my existence. As far as the mosquitos (laugh), I haven't been bitten by any matter of insect since my mortal life. Mosquitos, like vampyres, don't bother with the dead.

Wow, its amazing to think your a real vamp. I was wondering is there such thing as a choosen one to hunt you? or are there just people that go round killing you guys? How would I find a vampire near me? I live in England and I wish to know a real vampire to talk to but then again could i trust them not to drink? I really want to become a vampire I have for along time I always have visions of drinking other peoples blood and i do not understand it. Also do you guys fly? It would be cool if you did. As far as there being a chosen Slayer. I really don't know. There have been a few people who think they were chosen, but I haven't seen any evidence of devine intervention or abilities.

I do not fly, but I do have the ability to jump much higher than any mortal. This has been mistaken for flying several times.
