I'm assuming you're not the only "vampire" in this world. So let's say there are a thousand vampires living in the united states alone. Each one of them has to feed every day. That would mean alot of people lying on the streets with holes in their necks right? How come you never hear of bodies being found with fang marks on their jungular or survivors claiming to be bitten on the neck by some supernatural force?

Wackos that like to drink people's blood do exist in this world. Supernatural immortal beings with unworldly powers only exist in the movies.

Oh, and why the hell would a "real vampire" that has stated that people NOT BELIEVING helps a vampire to survive blab to the world that vampires in fact ARE REAL? lol.

In answer to your questions:
1. A vampire does not have to KILL their prey to survive, although this does happen. There are many who willingly give their blood (If you don't believe that, take a look at the rest of this web site and other searches on the internet for Vampyres and see what you find). There are many who don't even know that they've given it. Also, like yourself, doubt clouds most people's estimation of what really happens.
2. Doubt in my existence, is still my greatest protection. My admissions on FrightScape have little consequence. The doubt expressed in your email message to me only proves this point.

I was just wondering if you actually believe the things that you say on this website? I am not one to dismiss the fact that actual vampires could exist in the world today. Actually till someone proves that they don't I believe that they do. But for you to publicly advertise the fact that you are a vampire over the Internet is not only ludicrous but in the end somewhat dangerous. I don't pretend to be an expert on the subject of vampires but what you are saying is impossible. Maybe if you had a sort of blood disorder in that you need blood to survive I could understand that it has been medically proven for diseases such as those to exist but you claim to be 278 years of age that in and of its self is medically impossible. Can you prove that you are a vampire, and I do not mean by the fact that you drink blood, but medically substantial evidence to backup your claim. I am not normally a skeptic. I believe in a wide range of things that have no scientific explanation for but you are advertising you vampirism on the net.

In addressing your question of the medical impossibility of my existence, I have to say that I'm not certain myself of the medical or biochemical reason for my existance. All I can say, is that there are presidents in nature other than myself of organisims with longer life spans than that of ordinary humans.

As to your question of "how to tell," I would ask you, if the person imbibes any other sustenance other than blood. While I have been known to drink alcohol from time to time, I do not consume food. Moreover, I have not for some centuries now.

What are you religious beliefs? Do you believe in God? Satan? My wife is Christian. I am an athiest. I know what I believe. I'm just curious what a vampyre believes. At first, I would think that a vampyre's beliefs would be an individual decision, just like for humans. But, then I wonder if you have any special senses or knowledge of such things because of what you are. Thanks for your time!

I have a belief in a god of some sort. I have yet to understand him or her. I believe that a force for evil aslo exists. I have no supernatural perception of god or satan, I'm sorry to say.

I was raised with the Catholic church, the church of England and then, finally the protestant faiths.

I even considered Judiasim for a time. When their reformed movement came about, it seemed to make some sense to me at the time.

After all of my religious education and Christian upbringing, I find most organized religion to be more than a bit silly. Simply because humans have twisted faith terms that suit them at the time. To anyone who doesn't believe that, ask them to look up the history of the church of England, and find out just why it was created.

I can tell you that you can often find Vampyres "emulating their emulators." You may find them where you find people who dress like the stereo-typical vampyre. You may find them in a pub enjoying an argument with an aquantence.

You avoided the question posted by someone asking about your fangs, and I would like to bring up the question again - leaving, however, the response totally on your side; you get no cues from me.

What exactly is the purpose of your fangs? How do they function in relation to satisfying the blood thirst?

To answer your first question, English is my first language. I have learned to speak others, but I have little formal preparation. I was lucky enough to attend a school for a few of my adolescent years before my situation forced me to leave school for a wage.

So reading and writing in English are not new to me. Typing, however, is a new skill for me and I tend to make mistakes from time to time.

As far as my fangs, they are used for puncturing skin.

I recently came into possession of a skeleton key that unlocks a heavily guarded room in Louisiana. According to local legend, there are several of your kind encased in that room. The windows have something like 50 or so blessed screws sealing the shutters. (I believe the screws were blessed by a bishop or somesuch.) The building is a convent, and is the oldest building in the area.

I am considering freeing the entrapped occupants with this key, but am unsure of how to go about it. I assume if they have been asleep for a very long time, they will wake up ravenously thirsty. Maybe I should send several people I don't really care about into the room after I open the door? Any advice you could give would be wonderful. Thanks.

I would like to point out that the likleyhood of this legend being real is slim. Are there any other details about this legend you can tell me? How did you come into possession of a key?

I do not think that blessed screws would hold me in. I have no fear of holy objects. However, my strength is not boundless. I could be confined in a strong enough fortification.

I could not imagine going without feeding for so long. I would probably try to find a way to take my on life in its stead.

If there are 50 of my kind, alive and starving in this place you have described, no matter of people you bring will be sufficient to protect you. You may also be unleashing a wave of death upon your town the likes of which you may not realize.

I need your help. This may seem quite wierd, but please bear with me. I am searching for information on my past life, people who might have known me, reletavies, etc. For years now, I have been having re-occuring dreams about my previous life. In this dream I have long flowing black hair. Pale skin. Dress flashy but dark. Smell good (even for today). Carry a battle axe. I'm a heavy flirter. I'm a hitman for hire. I do not claim to be an expert on past life experiences. Your dream seems to be set at a time before I was born, so I can give you little insight into that arena.

However, in my reading, I have uncovered circumstances where people could be made to remember past lives through a technique known as "hypno-regression." It's a form of hypnosis that has had unusual and unprovable success.

Another avenue you might try is to try and figure out who you might have been. Do you know where you were? Were you speaking a foreign tongue? Can you describe the region? All of these things may help.

Dig deep on research texts. It may be possible to read about who you might have been. Either way the research might proove both enjoyable and memory provoking.

Actually, one cannot become a vampyre from a bite. This is one detail Stoker had gotten wrong. The only way I am aware of to become a vampyre by drinking the blood of a vampyre.

As far as a mthod through witchcraft, I cannot say since I am not a witch. You might place a post to the witch section of FrightScape or some other Witchcraft site to ask that question.

As far as I know there are vampyre's in England. I do not know of any personally, but I would be quite surprised if London did not have a few.

I am not a Psychic, and I do not have a lot of insight into psychic connections. I would not rule it out as a possibility, but I think it is more likely a manefestation of your desires. A real vampyre chooses this lifestyle out of necessity, not because we find ourselves drawn to it.
