Hello ,
Why are you searching for vampyres? If you are one of the countless who wishes to write the "Interview with the Vampyre" novel for real.
If you are, I am not interested.
If you wish to discuss something or ask me questions you may. I am on the east coast. I do NOT reveal my exact location to anyone.
Sincerely yours,
Agememnon

what exactly what do u mean by rewrite "interiew with a vampyre" if you mean that i wish to become a vampyre than no. i simply wish to know if you know any vampires in my vicinity. And if so could you tell me there names. if not could you tell me if you know any other real vampires. please thank you for your time, chris

Hello Christopher,
You would not be safe KNOWING any real vampyres in your area. They are hunters and frequently killers. I do know other real vampyres, but I am not a world directory for vampyres in any particular metropolitan area. In fact I know only one real vampyre in the western part of this country and she is in San Francisco. This is not to say that there aren't some in your area.
I leave you with something of the wisdom of my years. Be careful what you wish for, it might just find you.
Walk carefully son,
Agememnon

Have you ever turned anyone into a vampyre?? I was just wondering. Ever since I was at the age of nine or ten, I had this strong feeling about vampyre and I do not understand it myself. I have no yet met any "real" vampyre in my short 16 1/2 years. But my heart would race so fast if I watch a movie that involves vampyres of any kind, and my mind would go wild with all kinds of imaginations. I do not understand what drives me to think like this, but I was hoping that somehow you could help me. I do not expect you to understand what I try to explain but in any case, I would like to hear from you if you have time to email me back. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
ashley

Hello Ashley,
To answer your question I have created three vampyres in my lifetime. Two out of the three are dead and I have not seen the third one in many years.
Walk carefully,
Agememnon

How are you Agememnon,
I have tried to find real vampire for about 4 1/2 years now. What I found out was that there are many people to pretend to be what they are not. Now after reading every single message sent to you and reading every single one of your replies I have come to believe that I have hope in you. I don't want you to think that I am just another moron who wishes to be turned, but unfortunately for what I am going to tell you, it is you now, who must have an open mind. I have always loved vampires and like everyone else, it became an obsession to me. About 4 years ago, two or three months before my 18th birthday I started having a series of dreams. They took me by surprise. I was having dreams of someone's life...a vampire's life. I saw his friends, his lovers, his enemies. I saw how he would hunt and live among the humans. I saw his love affair with a mortal woman..and finally I saw his death. I even know the names of those in contact with him and the name of the one that killed him. I was very confused and shocked at these dreams and began to ask myself "Why?". I sought out professional help. I went to a psychologist for about 2 weeks when she offered to put me under hypnosis for a "regression", it's a procedure done under hypnotic state to re-live ones past life. I didn't really understand where she was going with this but I accepted. I don't remember anything but when she played back the tape she recorded... I was listening to someone else. It was no longer me, it was the person in my dream, the vampire. His name was Alex. She stated that these dreams were brought back into my memory due to some shock in my life...I had no clue what she meant...anyways..she said that I should return in another week for more tests. I never went back...I was so confused. Then, about 4 months after my 18th birthday I understood everything, thanks to more dreams and visions I had..everything she had told me made sense. Agememnon, I really don't know what your beliefs are, but I believe that I am this vampire in another life. I began my search for other real vampires to get some answers...and for two years nothing. Then I came across this girl who called herself Bridget. She seemed to have the answers I craved for and in about 6 months she said she would visit me and make me her fledgling. Guess what...she was a fake...two weeks prior to the date she was supposed to come down.. she broke down and told me the truth. I was enraged, and now more confused than ever. It is now almost 5 years later. I am 21 now, and will be 22 on December 19. I keep having dreams on and off. Most are about the same..but sometimes I get to catch a glimpse of even more having to do with this other life. I understand what I was agememnon, I understand it now more than ever. Sometimes I cry at night because I feel empty inside. I cry for those that I loved and lost. I mean, knowing that they could still be out there just as you are tears me apart. I feel them like I feel myself and without them I am alone. Agememnon, I'm going to be really honest with you. I AM searching for a way to become what I believe I once was. I wrote to you, not in hopes of having you turn me, for I know that you are probably not even willing to do something like that, I fully understand....but I did write to you in hopes of some answers and maybe a little help. Help in terms of some advice and maybe helping me seek out someone willing to give me a chance and learn of who I am in hopes of turning me one day. I would greatly appreciate any help from you Agememnon. I hope that this letter was not a waste of your time and I also hope that you will write back to me. I thank you greatly and look forward to hearing from you.
Leonardo Fariņas

Hello Leonardo,
I do not know much about past life experiences. I can feel the torment in your words. I wish I could help you find your way in this. Even if I knew of a vampyre in your area, wherever that is, I seriously doubt that they would agree to meet with you.
I hope you find happiness in this life. Perhaps you need to concentrate on this one rather than trying to recapture the past. Few vampyres endure the ages. They all seek to live as they did in prior years. Looking forward is they key to survival in my experience.
I hope you find your peace in this life.
Walk carefully my friend,
Agememnon

Are you a killer or do you get it from the blood bank?
How did you become a vampire and how old are you excatly? I am
curious and not just taking the piss.
love claire

Hello Claire,
What an interesting expression "taking the piss." I'm not quite sure what that means, but I suppose I can venture a guess.
To answer your first question, I don't have an ATM card at the blood bank. We are all killers of a sort. We all survive on death, even vegitarians. What makes my habits worse than anyone elses.
If you read my biography, you will see how I became what I am and that I was born in 1705. You can do the arithmatic.
Walk carefully,
Agememnon

Hey Agememnon, My daughter would like to know if sex
is any different than when you were mortal? Thank you for your
time.
Michelle Sherman

Hello Michelle,
To be completely honest, I was seventeen when I became a vampyre. In 1722 an unmarried man of seventeen was usually a virgin, and I was no exception.
Since I have become a vampyre most of my senses have been heightened, including my sense of touch. I can say with all likelyhood that the sensory experience I now feel is probably much more intense than an ordinary mortal.
I can also tell you that the ecstasy of the feeding is, in many ways, similar to te ecstasy of sex. There is the same build up and then the satiation of the thirst.
I hope I have satisfied your curiosity,
Agememnon

hello there...
I am always interested to know things about immortal vampires.I do believe that you exist even if it seems to be so unreal and far from my mortal reality. I've done some research on the net and I've read many books. I know that everything's possible...and that we do not know the truth. I would love to meet a real vamp...I'd give my life. I am not afraid of vampires...I think you are awesome, beautiful and charming. How can I meet one real vamp???
Mary

Hello Mary,
As I have stated in earlier messages, I do not meet with people that I contact through email.
I tell you now, to be careful what you wish for. You say you don't fear us, having never actually met a vampyre, that is an unwise presumtion. Most vampyres kill with the swiftness of a leopard, and the unremorsefullness as well.
If you really prefer death, dwell in those places where vampyre emulators congregate. One will find you eventually.
Make your choices with care,
Agememnon

A greeting Agememnon,
Well, I have a few questions for you (ya think?). One, (a material question of sorts), Do you find yourself, as a Vampyre, drawn to any particualr type of music? I'm asking because it kind of makes me laugh how a lot of these new age Vampyre "wanna-be's", for a lack of better term, tend to think that what they listen to makes them what they say they are.
Two, how was your family life before you were "turned"? Did you and your father (and/or Mother) get along well?
And finally, my life has been far from the normal mother-father-son-daughter-dog-white picket fence life. The only person that is left of my close family is my mother, and her and I dont get along that well anymore (No, Im not saying my life is better or worse than anyone elses). I have been researching what I could of the Vampyric World for the past 6 years or so (I am currently 19). I have yet to find anything as of yet to really define the truth about Vampyres. This, as the subject speaks, is my Undying Quest. I want to know the truth, and to tell you the truth, bad or good, I want to become one of the so called 'Kindred', because not only do I search for the truth, I search for change. If you could tell me where I could find someone in the Bradenton, Florida area (If there is anyone that you know of) that I could talk to on a more Personal basis I would be very grateful.
Regards,
Xanth Nomeda (alias, of course ;p)
nomeda@nomeda.com
P.S. Feel free to post this in your section of FrightScape...

Greetings Mr. Nomeda,
What a contemporary question, and an observation I had as well. If you are curious, I enjoy the works of Motzart, Wagner, Chopin, Various Jazz and Blues artists (too many to name), Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Crosby-Stills-Nash, Pink Floyd and AC/DC. I'm sure there are many more I'm forgetting. I have a policy to turn my nose up at no music without having listened to a good sampling. I also might like one song by Nat King Cole or Iron Maiden, without liking the rest of their work. I guess you would say I'm not well defined by my music alone.
With regard to my mortal family life, I was closer to my father, before his death. I was to fill his role in the years that followed, and did not have much time to develop a closeness with my mother that I suppose I should have.
You search for the truth. An interesting, and I'm sorry to say, and often fruitless pursuit. A noble idea none the less, it has become, in my experience that truth is such a subjective thing. It like sunlight, varies in colour, degree and intensity depending upon who experienced it. Have you ever seen a news report where they interview several witnesses and each tells a different tale of the same event.
Another example is your identity. Are you really a demon?
I'm not telling you to stop in your search for truth. It is a superior goal in life. Some of the greatest goals in life are impossible. If you are searching for a true vampyre, well... You may meet someone who drinks blood for sustanence. That may be true in the literal sense. Even an ordinary mortal can exist on blood as a source of nourishment for some time (I've met a few). Are they immortal? Are you going to attempt to kill them to prove them wrong?
Am I immortal? I really don't know for sure. All I know is when I was born and that I have not died yet. My body has shown little signs of aging over the ceturies, but does that mean it never will? I don't know. I will never have the truth.
You are young, even by mortal standards. You seem to have a wisdom beyond your years. Keep up your search. I can guarantee one day you will find the "truth" in vampyre.
Walk Carefully my friend,
Agememnon

Please,I am sorry...I am writing again because I'd like to know some information.I don't know any places where vampyre emulators congregate. I do not prefer Death,I just want to make sure that you do exist. I am not a vampire hunter or something like that. People usually dream about having the Dark Gift but I don't wanna be eternally damned...altough if some vampyre offered it to me...I guess I would accept it without thinking about the consequences. I could not resist your charm... Mary

Mary,
If you have never actually met a real vampyre, whose charm are you attracted to? The works of Stoker or Rice? A real vampyre is a creature in torment. Unable to see daylight, and cursed by a thirst that can only be slaked by the blood of another. Is this charm?
Vampyre emeulators normally congregate at gothic or vampyre clubs in major cities. Many vampyres such as myself find this an ideal place to blend. Where else to hide a tree but in a forest, eh?
Be careful where you go,
Agememnon

You are right.I've never met a real vampire...I know that they are creatures in torment, they are cursed. But you are seductive, aren't you?So that you can attract your victim like flowers attract bee,eh? No,I don't want to offer my blood.I just want to meet a vampire... I know you are among us since my friend told me he saw one of those creatures. Mary

Mary,
I think you've seen Frank Langella's Portrayal of Dracula. Instead of watching that as your basis, I suggest you turn to "The Discovery Channel" or the "Animal Planet" and watch a large cat like a leopard or a jaguar hunt.
She may be very beautiful and very graceful but I wouldn't call her seductive. Even in your analogy, you have the roles reversed. The flower isn't the predator...it's the prey.
Walk Carefully my friend,
Agememnon

Hello,
I have just gotten finished reading all the questions and answers that were posted. It seems that there are many clueless people in the world. I too have always had a sort of "fetish" for vampires as does my soon to be husband. But, that is what it is...a fetish or fantasy. I agree that the world of fiction has made vampyres look very romantic. I would think in reality that it would be a life of torment. In fact, in almost every aspect would be torment. Although I am sure, some advantages. You are lucky to have a companion. I would think life would be lonely seeing everyone you love die of old age. I will stick with my little fantasy of a vampyre at night. And still be able to walk out into the sun when I want. Dear Agememnon, vampyre or not, you have given good advice to these that seem lost. When a lot of people on the net exploit such ones, you have not. I respect you for that. I really had no questions...just my comments. But, a reply all the same would be nice.
Thanks,
Tonya

Hello Tonya,
Thank you for your understanding. As I stated in an earlier message, a hunting cat can be beautiful, sleek and elegant, even regal.
Unlike the cat, god has granted this predator, intelegence, wit, and an exceptionally long life-span. He has also bestwoned upon us the abilities required to survie, like everything else in nature. We have our gifts and our weaknesses.
As for your fantasy, It's not entirely unfounded. We are all required to do things to sustain us, if that happens to give us pleasure also, I don't think that is a sin. Your fantasy is about a fictional character in a book or movie. Enjoy it.
Walk Carefully my friend,
Agememnon
