I like another who has posted here, though the name escapes my memory, have been in existence since the dawn of Time.

I have been this way since the age of twelve when my heart stopped for two minutes. I regained consciousness and to the doctors' suprise, I had no damage to my body or mind.....as well as being stronger and more resistent to injury than before.

Those around me then noticed that my personality and attitude changed. I was no longer innocent and I seemed older, or more wise than I had been prior.

I began to have dreams of past times and people, that at the time I did not know. As years went by, the dreams continued, and I began to meet the people in my dreams. A few times, my dreams predicted future events.

The dreams gave way to flashes of memory.....though still to times past. I know individuals that remember me from long ago.

I also began to have upper back problems.......and to this day, my shoulder blades feel heavier than they should.

I have also discovered through children, people who are able to see auras, and the dying, that I have long white wings.

I can also see into the hearts of people I am close to and almost read their minds... not always though, but I have been told "I know too much about everything" more instances than I can count.

This being stated, I also have a darker side, one that thrives on the energy of others, through blood mostly. My skin has always been quite pale, and since the age of 12, the sun hurts my eyes and blinds me.....seemingly more and more as the years go by.

I am not immortal......no do I know how to become that way, or if it even exists. Though I so wish to find others that share my pain.........of battling between the dark and light.
